Whispers of the Dawning Day.
It took me 3 weeks of waiting and patience to create this fine art photograph. My project was to take photos at dawn around natural ponds. I chose the Haute-Saintonge in the south of Charente-Maritime. It is a region I know well. I knew that it was conducive to beautiful autumn light and that I would never be disturbed.
For this project, I selected 7 different ponds to create my photos. At the end of the third week, I finally realized what I wanted to do.
It is 7 o'clock in the morning. Dawn awakens softly, shrouded in mystery and serenity. Sparrows sing in the trees. I can hear the rustling of big deer in the groves around me. The title “Whispers of the dawning day” comes to mind. It is not just a photograph.
