For years, I've wandered through this mysterious landscape, often alone, camera in hand, guided by curiosity and intuition. In the Dombes, paths appear without warning-narrow trails through dense trees, tunnels of light and shadow that cut between ponds and disappear into the unknown. They seem almost forgotten by time, inviting only the quiet-hearted to explore them.

These paths are not marked on maps. They don't follow logic. Some end in water. Some vanish into fields. Others curve and twist as if tracing the invisible memory of something ancient-something sacred.

As I walked them, I realized they were more than trails. They were metaphors.
