Scallops Meeting in the Cold Waters of Vancouver Island

We were diving in Vancouver Island when we saw the scallops which seemed to converse between them.

They were all posted on a big rock looking all on the same direction. Every scallop was opening and closing their shell depending on the movement of its neighbour. It was a fascinating show and we stayed several minutes to watch it.
